keeping your phone in your wallet like all but the most paranoid of us do

What do you mean by this? Most people don't carry a wallet big enough to store a phone.

Considering that Lemmy doesn't have karma counts, explain how step one of your plan makes any sense on this platform?

It's much more common to see a bot either wait 1-2 weeks and then jump into bullshit head-first or immediately post a handful of memes in random communities before diving into its bullshit. OP doesn't fit into either of those patterns, and engages in the comment sections of their and others' posts in a way that bots typically don't.

Wouldn't that be not vegan because it's exploiting the horse, though?

Agreed! This became the default suggestion for game night after we all got a little too stressed from overcooked and wanted to try something different lol. I do wish you could throw stuff in plateup, though.

Yes, that's the whole point of the saying. If you notice a pattern, don't automatically assume that a causes b, when it might be that both are triggered by some additional variable c that is not immediately apparent without further investigation.

This one's real popular in my friend group. It's a similar concept to overcooked but with a roguelike structure and you get to build the layout.

Nah dawg, you were being a disingenuous dick in that comment chain. I hope you treat your friends and family better in real life than you suggested OP should.

Or you could do what my outlook does and just never empty the trash despite setting a 30 day policy. Recently discovered i have 3 years of "deleted" emails

I wish there was a way to decline only future occurrences, though. I don't want to remove the previous meetings.

Hi Brenda,

I wanted to reach out regarding a small observation I made in your last email. In telling me how to spend 30 minute meal break and encouraging me to cut it short for the company's benefit, you violated US labor law.

Let's correct this behavior and try to be more mindful of that "our company is not above the law" spirit so we can keep your momentum going in the right direction. :-)

Eric

P. S. I will be retaining this communication in case this remains an issue. Thanks :-)

A screenshot of 2 posts to different 196 communities.

The first one is a screenshot from Tumblr that reads "if there was ever a GATE situation or whatever you'd not even be able to tell with this website. ppl would be like 'THEY SHOT A GOBLIN ON LIVE TV' and you'd just think it was some goncharov shit".

The second is also a screenshot from Tumblr and reads "THEY SHOT A GOBLIN ON LIVE TV".

I love how Valve's strategy is basically just 'don't piss off the customers and occasionally do something super fucking cool', while everyone else in the space seems to be cutting off their nose to spite their face
