If I remember correctly its setting up a software I2P router on your OS and setting up your browser to only go through that router. Like I said its been a long time since I used it and need to look it up how to set it up and use it again.

Any recommendations on a quality full kit?

Yeah, I do know its alot slower. I at least want to get it set up as a fallback if this bullshit the governments are doing actually happens.

I tested I2P a number of years ago and havent messed with it since. Been wanting to get back into setting it up for torrenting on my server. Will have to do some research and set it back up this weekend. Nows a better time than any I guess. Thanks for the reminder to start again.

Will definitely probably want wifi, so ESP32 will probably be the route for that.

Thanks for the information. Honestly, with not knowing much about it, I'm not sure what I'd want in my setup yet, haven't had much time to look into it more yet. I will definitely check out their websites. Thanks again.

I've heard of Meshtastic and Meshcore but haven't really looked into it. I'm very interested in getting started and what all I need to do it, if anyone has some good information or sources. With the state of the way the internet is becoming and I now self-host my own media server, I would like to make this one of my next setups.

Yep, I agree. I love Jellyfin and all thanks to the devs for the project but I think they fumbled on the new UI.

I honestly don't like the new ui. I've set the old legacy theme back on mine. Except the Jellyfin app on android for some reason doesn't allow me to set legacy ui so I'm stuck with the ugly new one there. One reason is I have created my own own images and created libraries on my homescreen with those nice images. So, that new top bar with all the libraries is unnecessary. I also dont care for the new menu to the dashboard and everything.

"It does not mean Firefox can no longer be installed or run on non-certified or rooted Android devices, but it might mean that users on non-certified or rooted devices can’t access all AI features in Firefox for Android."

🤣 nobody wants those features anyway. Good thing I use Vanadium and Ironfox though.
