It's imperative the cylinder remains unharmed.

As much as I like Rust, it'll be hard to dethrone python as the ML or data science prototyping default. It's a great orchestration language.

Make sure linux headers stay installed. Mine didn't for some reason and then zfs dkms didn't compile anymore. All I had to do was install it again, though, so the googling why it didn't compile was the hard part. The boot disk was luckily just ext.

Except SEs aren't architects. I've been reduced to "do the jira ticket and nothing else" so many times, I'm quitting the team. I've spotted an issue, the LLM spotted the issue, I'm not allowed to fix it - instead I have to create another ticket so it can be overhead. I'm not getting an architecture course, either, so what am I doing here? I'm not going to be a professional meat proxy only.

Wow, I hate the thumbnails just from this screenshot.

Good luck, Rust is easy if you have a background in C/C++. Lifetime specifiers are a wrinkle, but also doable. I recommend you do Advent of Code tasks and ask an LLM for stylistic feedback.

OvaEasy reminds me of ovaries. Which I know is related to eggs, but it's weirding me out regardless.

I recently looked up Family Time because of the hype (and the Papa! melted my brovaries), but of course there's a clone with a fox lady already. That made me mad.

I eventually got over the feeling. My response is an "already on it" in the sense of a playful "i beat you to it", and I expect an "awesome, thanks" in turn. That way it's gratitude and support for each other - since that was the intention to begin with - instead of resentment for an unnecessary reminder.

Imo it helps to remind oneself that mental load is a thing and they're reminding themselves just as much as you. Getting ahead of the reminder consistently will eventually make the reminder obsolete and lighten the mental load.

Hah, suck it! I'm still holding on to the 25-35 bracket and that'll NEVER CHANGE NEXT YEAR!

I'm still impressed by Erlang and their hot swappable code mechanics. This isn't really relevant to library updates, but still!

The lil'est horse was a pig all along.

It's been sounding like a dead fan bearing in the rack for a while, there's really old machines in there. Turns out no! The drive did the screeching. I was stunned for a second when the noise stopped upon its removal.

Platter smoke. Don't breathe this!

Hello!

My parents are moving to Italy and need a network. They only have 4G. I'm a little lost when it comes to UniFi and looking for some feedback if I've thought of everything and the setup works.

I was thinking Cloud Key 2, VPN Router Express, LTE Router UMR, maybe a U6 Lite AP to complement the one integrated into the Router if the range in the latter is insufficient, and a US-8-60W for power since only the cloud key and the AP would be powered using it. If they want cameras, I wanted to upgrade to CK2+, add G5 Bullets and use the US-8-150W instead.

I'm not sure whether I need the VPN router when the LTE router is already a router, too, but apparently the LTE router is not really integrated into the UniFi system. I need an AP, anyway, to the VPN Router is fine I think.

What do you think? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Wait, is the UDR sufficient for the first setup? No cloud key, no vpn router, no switch...
