The question in your text is a bit different from the one your body text. With regard to the title question: Yes, almost all senisible statements that can be made are contingent and are based on sets of assumptions that are the product of constructed context. It is actually one the major quests of western philosophy to work out the few possible statements where this may not be true. This, for example is what "Cogito ergo sum/I think therefore I am" by Descartes is about.

“When you find out the North Pole is trying to bring more bureaucratic overreach & unfunded mandates down the chimney disguised as “Christmas cheer.” Not on my watch,” the Republican posted on his X account Thursday morning.

“We The People run Indiana, not the bureaucrats,” he added. “Take it back to the North Pole big guy.”

[...]

“Lots of intolerance, swearing, and outrage on display over a few AI pics I had a blast designing with my kids,” Garten said. “Some of you clowns are just insufferable. Hopefully your negativity stays in the comments and not directed at your families.”

“Merry Christmas, snowflakes!” he added.

I don't get it, what does Santa have to do with additional Bureaucracy?

Usual reminder that the Source here is a 'Bild' Article. Therefore it has a high likelyhood of being partially or totally made up by one of their coked up editors.

It may not be as bad as the US, but Car culture in Germany has left it's impact on german citys as well. Both Munich and Berlin for example have massiv highways going right through them. And keeping that at bay or even reversing it is an ongoing struggle.

Source: lived in both citys

Occasional SYSK Listener here. I am baffled by the amount of new shows that pop up under the their Banner. Thematically these Shows are totally random and they only ever seem to get advertised for a very short period befor the next one takes their place. Are they just pumping out these shows hoping one is a hit and makes worth all the misses? How is this sustainable? Especially since they only ever seem to advertise their own networks Content?
