yes, actually.

the one of the switches in my office controls one of the only outlets, which has a pc plugged into it. so yes, a zigbee smart bulb is the better option than just flipping the switch. it's a single widget on my phone, and there's a remote, and i can control it from my pc. it just runs off home assistant, there's no internet involved, and i don't even have to use the wifi for it.

i swear you people just invent difficulty out of nothing.

oh no, making linux usable for more people who stick with windows because their games don't run. that is so bad and definitely not what we want at all, apparently. linux bad now, because epic and nvidia exist.

are we fucking for real right now?

sorry, but being uncomfortable around sphynx cats is a personal moral failing.

i can't help but notice that youtube changed the get variable name recently from si to is, i'm guessing in an attempt to screw with extensions that strip these out.

this is fully intended to trick gullible people. it is absolutely about the money.

burning all these dev tokens just stabilizes or increases the price of the remaining tokens, and they couldn't just sell them either, that would crash the price. they're selling gta6 clips for $160k.

if you think that burning dev tokens is a sign of good will, you are a mark.

this comes across like anti-therapy propaganda.

it should surprise nobody that a project owned by anthropic is turning into slop.

you should all know that reddit can, and has, restored comments that have been "shredded" by tools like this so they can be used to train AI. they can obviously restore deleted content as well, because it's never deleted, just marked as deleted in the database.

and reminder, these places make more money if you don't find a match. they are actively disincentivized from doing their stated job.

same is true for companies like incogni. if mass data harvesting is made illegal, they're out of a job. and many of them are owned by companies that also own data brokers. the removal process is often just sending your data to a data broker and asking if they have it, which obviously just hands that data right over in the process. they will make more money from data harvesting staying legal and they know it.
