Those last two panels were uncalled for, but glorious.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 98 points 11 months ago

Thanks. I push through where most other comics artists would stop. 😎

[-] Texas_Hangover@lemmy.radio 36 points 11 months ago

This is your work? Its fucking brilliant! The absurdity, I haven't laughed that hard in a minute.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 51 points 11 months ago

Yes. I made this myself, just a few hours ago.

I’ve been told that I’m a rare species of comics artists that post his own work on Lemmy. I’m not sure if that’s true, but I kinda like it anyway.🥸

[-] Cold_Brew_Enema@lemmy.world 22 points 11 months ago

Always loved your comics. Please keep them coming!

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 21 points 11 months ago

Awww. ☺️
I will. ✊😎

[-] from_D4rkness@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

as a fellow artist that posts on lemmy, I see your work here often and I love it! You really flow with your work and it shows! You have made me laugh on many occasions, and I hope to produce more and share with lemmy because of your work. :)

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 6 points 11 months ago

Really? Because of my work? Wow. I’m blushing. ☺️

I hope to see more of your work. As soon as I can find the fricking ‘follow’ button on this app, I’ll be following you.

Those last two panels could stand on their own.

[-] tetris11@lemmy.ml 9 points 11 months ago

Those last two panels have been unleashed!
Those last two panels have been taken off the leash!

[-] tetris11@lemmy.ml 2 points 11 months ago

Those last two panels have beeeeeen activated!
Those last two panels.... last two panels....

[-] lmmarsano@lemmynsfw.com 23 points 11 months ago

We swim in the ocean, and that has everything.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 18 points 11 months ago

It DOES have everything. Every possible secretion, expulsion, or ejaculate. I’m still amazed that swimming in the ocean does NOT get every orifice of your body pregnant. 😨

[-] Kolanaki@pawb.social 5 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

I mean... From one of the more recent Whang! videos, I learned that actually does sometimes happen. 😱

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 7 points 11 months ago

Ugh… I hate it when my jokes turn out to be real. 😦
I think I’m gonna lay on my bed and lose consciousness for a couple of hours and forget what you just said. 😑

[-] CaptSatelliteJack@lemy.lol 5 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

You can try, but that stain is permanent. It's ruinous touch will never leave the creases of your cortex. Like an amoeba.

Oh this is fucking deranged.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 8 points 11 months ago

It’s scientifically designed to be that way. ☝️🤓

[-] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

It's a triumph of engineering

[-] Typhoon@lemmy.ca 14 points 11 months ago

The toilet has less pee in it because the water gets changed every time you flush.

Toilets have less pee in them than pools.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 13 points 11 months ago

Not really what the comic was about, but you are correct with your analysis. 🤓📉

[-] tetris11@lemmy.ml 2 points 11 months ago

I bet the pee residue in a flushed toilet is equivalent to (or more than) the concentration of pee in that large pool

[-] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 2 points 11 months ago

Btw, you cannot disprove this with a taste test.

“I better go pee in my room.” ??

[-] roguetrick@lemmy.world 16 points 11 months ago

Yeah when you've got a hotel room that's pretty standard American English. Usually it's "go to my room/house to pee" but nobody really takes it as you peeing though the door into your house or something

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 9 points 11 months ago

Although it would be funny if people actually peed anywhere in their houses. 😙

[-] SmackemWittadic@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

I mean, most people do! The toilets are usually inside the house (other than when they're literally called "the outhouse")

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 9 points 11 months ago

Yes, smartiebutt, toilets are generally inside the house, but the keyword here is “anywhere“, which extends way beyond the confines of the toiletbowl. ☝️🥸

[-] 5too@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Yeah, but they responded to what you said! "Anywhere in their houses" could be just wherever in the house, or any specific spot; as in "is there anywhere to pee in the house?"

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 4 points 11 months ago

Oof. I’m too drunk to follow all of this. 😮‍💨
However, I am going to steal that sentence: “Is there anywhere to pee in the house?” and I’m gonna use it in real life.

[-] 5too@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

Lol, you're welcome to it! And it's always fun to see your comics!

[-] HikingVet@lemmy.ca 3 points 11 months ago

Until the ammonia builds up.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 7 points 11 months ago

And the wooden floorboards start to deform.
And friends stop coming over.
There are some disadvantages, that’s true.

[-] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 9 points 11 months ago

I knew those mfs were doing the dirty in my toilet

[-] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

some nasty shit.

[-] Diurnambule@jlai.lu 8 points 11 months ago
[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 4 points 11 months ago

And you didn’t even have to dig for it. ⛏️👷🏻‍♂️

[-] bluesheep@sh.itjust.works 7 points 11 months ago

So about the smell of bleach in public pools -

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 2 points 11 months ago

Ugh. Don’t get me started. 🙄

[-] racketlauncher831@lemmy.ml 3 points 11 months ago

I know, right? Whoever peed that out needs to see a doctor.

[-] Krauerking@lemy.lol 4 points 11 months ago

He did the right thing.

The world has to know.

[-] Samsy@lemmy.ml 3 points 11 months ago

"Patoing" got me. Thx for this.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 2 points 11 months ago

You’re welcome. Glad to help people with my onomatopoeias. 😎

[-] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 3 points 11 months ago

Can we have more of this style of comic please! Its fantastic!

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 2 points 11 months ago

If you like my stuff, feel free to follow me. ✍️😎

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

Rules
  1. 😇 Be Nice!

    • Treat others with respect and dignity. Friendly banter is okay, as long as it is mutual; keyword: friendly.
  2. 🏘️ Community Standards

    • Comics should be a full story, from start to finish, in one post.
    • Posts should be safe and enjoyable by the majority of community members, both here on lemmy.world and other instances.
    • Any comic that would qualify as raunchy, lewd, or otherwise draw unwanted attention by nosy coworkers, spouses, or family members should be tagged as NSFW.
    • Moderators have final say on what and what does not qualify as appropriate. Use common sense, and if need be, err on the side of caution.
  3. 🧬 Keep it Real

    • Comics should be made and posted by real human beans, not by automated means like bots or AI. This is not the community for that sort of thing.
  4. 📽️ Credit Where Credit is Due

    • Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
    • Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!
  5. 📋 Post Formatting

    • Post an image, gallery, or link to a specific comic hosted on another site; e.g., the author's website.
    • Meta posts about the community should be tagged with [Meta] either at the beginning or the end of the post title.
    • When linking to a comic hosted on another site, ensure the link is to the comic itself and not just to the website; e.g.,
      ✅ Correct: https://xkcd.com/386/
      ❌ Incorrect: https://xkcd.com/
  6. 📬 Post Frequency/SPAM

    • Each user (regardless of instance) may post up to five (5 🖐) comics a day. This can be any combination of personal comics you have written yourself, or other author's comics. Any comics exceeding five (5 🖐) will be removed.
  7. 🏴‍☠️ Internationalization (i18n)

    • Non-English posts are welcome. Please tag the post title with the original language, and include an English translation in the body of the post; e.g.,
      Sí, por favor [Spanish/Español]
  8. 🍿 Moderation

    • We are human, just like most everybody else on Lemmy. If you feel a moderation decision was made in error, you are welcome to reach out to anybody on the moderation team for clarification. Keep in mind that moderation decisions may be final.
    • When reporting posts and/or comments, quote which rule is being broken, and why you feel it broke the rules.
Banned Artists

The following artists are banned from the community.

  1. Jago
  2. Stonetoss
  3. GPrime85

It should be noted that when you make reports, it is your responsibility to provide rational reasoning why something should be removed. Saying it simply breaks community rules is not always good enough.

Web Accessibility

Note: This is not a rule, but a helpful suggestion.

When posting images, you should strive to add alt-text for screen readers to use to describe the image you're posting:

Another helpful thing to do is to provide a transcription of the text in your images, as well as brief descriptions of what's going on. (example)
