Wouldn't hurt. :)

I see, so it's a bigger issue than a sole instance problem. Ok I'll report if I notice new ones.

By the way there might still be problems but they could be on the other instances as well. I made a comment on lemmy.ml and it appeared almost instantly while my other comment on lemmy.world still didn't federate.

Edit: Apparently my supposed to fail comment on lemmy.world somehow federated with blahaj.zone but not lemmy.world itself. I deleted that comment and re-commented there and it still didn't appear, however both are can be seen on blahaj.zone now. Weird things are happening. :)

If you don't know all of your accounts made with this account, you might want to wait for 2-3 years to get mails about accounts you forgot about. I think it's safe after that point. I did this before I finally delete my Google account and actually got some mails like these.

Ah I see. Thanks for letting me now, didn't notice the comment.

Hi! I think there is still a problem with federation. My comment didn't federated however I can at least see the posts from federation. So it's possible our comments and possibly upvotes/downvotes don't register with federated instances.

I also didn't get notifications about new comments though that could be related to downtime of the server, but if federation should've continued after that, there might be a problem there as well.

Edit: Upvotes seems to be registering.

I... would be honored I guess. :)

Yeah. Eventually I meet some more agile ones but after a couple miss I learn their tactics too.

I can catch flies with my bare hand. I don't kill them though, just let them go from windows.

That's my next 7 phone budget.

Previously I was using Samsung N150P (netbook) as my home server and it served me around 6 years. >> https://programming.dev/post/708584

Though after upgrading to Debian 13, additional 90 packages were installed just with the upgrade. I also had a little adventure with it :) >> https://programming.dev/post/708488

Anyway, this new mini PC I got is from 2016 and surprisingly it has 8GB DDR3 RAM (I'm rich now). It's generally in good condition. Even though it's Celeron N3000, this one doesn't have hyperthreading so only 2 cores. Still it's a real upgrade over Atom N450 CPU.

Since last year, I was planning to get a Raspberry Pi and moving from there. However thanks to AI overlords it got so expensive I had to bail from that fantasy. I got this for 40$ and with 8GB RAM I think it was a good deal.

I was already planning to change my home server to Alpine for a while but I just couldn't touch a perfectly fine system because lazy. So this time I went with Alpine and I already love how small it is. I just installed a couple monitoring tools and packages like sudo along with Pi-hole so currently it has quite few packages.

Don't worry though, I'm planning to use that RAM, with time. :)

Explanation:

This is a Samsung tablet from 2014, currently has LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11), the last it can get. Since it's unused I did a little experiment until I find someone who will use it. Today I have found so here is the post.

After charging it to 100%, I disabled Wi-Fi connection, put it on battery saving mode and it's been on for more than 2 months. Battery is still in good condition after all these years I guess. :)

I just got an RX 6600 from second hand market and wanted to test it just to be sure. There was a Furmark screenshot on the seller's pictures which is tested on Windows.

However when I did the Furmark test's Linux version, while it was mostly similar, my memory clock shown as 875 MHz. It was 1750 MHz on seller's test. I don't know technical part behind this but this is a x2 difference I noticed. Also it was 14 Gbps on Windows while mine was 3.5 Gbps, the difference is x4 here.

There is probably a measurement difference between Windows and Linux drivers here, but like I said I don't know the technical details behind these tests.

So, is this the same / different measurement or should I be worried about this card?
