Really depends on the era.

After 2016 I spent a lot of time on reddit talking to Trump voters to understand why.

Overwhelmingly they believe things that aren't true. Basic misconceptions of the world cascading in on one another culminating into the stupidest vote of their life.

One guy thought Obama was a vain man because he named his healthcare plan Obamacare. When I told him the healthcare plan was called the Affordable Care Act, and that Republicans and the media called it Obamacare as a way to hurt it, his brain couldn't process it because why would the media parrot Republican talking points if they were all biased towards Democrats?

You can understand how this individual would make this mistake. He pays just enough attention to be misinformed. Three generations of right-wing propaganda, the world's most disciplined messaging machine repeating the same lies and half-truths have absolutely run roughshod over this type of person.

Who doesn't want more of 64 year old Nicholas Cage pretending to be a 40 year old playing a superhero famous for his speed and ability?

Was having some nice discussions in the news instance regarding a post about the Columbian Presidents comments on cocaine, but the thread got nuked within the last hour.

I normally would move on, but this has begun to happen with more and more frequency. Not really interested in participating in anything that will just get removed based on some rando's personal feelings towards a topic.

This is one of those things where if the left had the capacity to practice messaging discipline and media coordination they could repeat everyday for the next two months with brutal consequences for the right-wing administration.

But this will be forgotten about by tomorrow

Don't worry everyone, i've worked for rich guys and I can assure you that two rich people are absolutely incapable of working together for more than a few months.

Trump and Musk are going to turn on one another, it's only a matter of time

I'll always love their disbelief that we're able to sus then out. They're like reverse sovereign citizens in that they think if they avoid certain words or phrases it's impossible to know their feelings.

Those videos they did 16 years ago were some of the funniest things I've ever seen.

These fears over population collapse are the weirdest form of mass hysteria I've ever seen.

There is something so weird about this. I don't think these guys are trying to protect children, I think they are getting off on the roleplaying and using the 'hunting predators' thing as an excuse to justify it.
