I want the SFA cast to be making Star Trek movies as late into their careers as the TOS cast was

I watched the Price is Right! It was actually really fun and they had a lot more little Trek details than I would have suspected.

I'm a crypto-Trekkie; if you walked into my home and really looked closely you'd only see multiple starship models, action figures shirts, lego sets and a handful of props. Not a single ceramic stoneware baking dish (unless we're counting mugs and decorative plates in which case there are dozens).

Same and same! I don't think it's fully sunk in for a lot of Linux die-hards the game changer that is immutability/flatpaks.

I spent my retirement to buy five as an investment

Yes but I recommend waiting until someone makes a version of Linux specifically for Bigscreen because it's not really ready yet

As long as someone out there is willing to pay money to delay something there is a lawyer who knows how to jam up the system basically indefinitely

I kinda love the glove too

It's in the post. They wanted immutability:

"Unraid has always been a so-called immutable OS— however you modify your server, if you go in there, you type the wrong command, you delete all the files from your root, you still could just reboot and you're back to the virgin release… and that's a big reason why we've chosen Fedora [uCore]."

— Tom Mortensen, creator of Unraid

That's true even the premium brands won't halfway decent CPUs in them to keep the giant bloated menus from stuttering.

There's no best answer right now, Plasma Bigscreen is making good progress.

I have to imagine they'll soon be putting cellular antennas in the TVs to circumvent all that anyway.
