So recently there has been a lot of chatter about Dick Cheney potentially be involved in gatekeeping whatever alleged crash retrieval program may exist, and all I have to say is that, if true, I find it to be incredibly concerning.

This is the man who was the architect behind the Iraq war, responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of citizens, and ostensibly all just for some oil money. Do I doubt he's capable of far worse atrocities when it comes to defending the single most valuable secret known to mankind? Of course not. You could not find a more perfectly amoral and sociopathic government official to gatekeep such a program if you tried, and I'm pretty certain he's not unique among his peers in that regard.

This is the type of man who 100% is not going to just let himself be found out and face consequences. He's the type of guy who would sooner destroy all of Washington DC before he'd even allow the prospect of accountability to be brought to the table in any meaningful way.

I believe our elected officials are, for the most part, pretty powerless and inconsequential, and I think the people who run covert programs are well aware of that. It doesn't take much to redirect politicians and their constituents to other things if they ever start to get on the trail towards what's going on.

But now that's there's a more formal effort to pursue the subject of uaps the situation is getting tighter. It's being taken more seriously in a way that can't easily be shaken off. We don't know at what point we'll hit their breaking point and trigger a collapse in the facade, but instead of justice waiting on the other side be met the wrath of those holding the real power.

And that's what's concerning, maybe we're near that point. Recently Cheney came out of the woodwork to endorse Kamala, something which would have normally made no sense for him to do. But it's a safe bet he wouldn't endorse someone if he thought they would pose any risk exposing the program. And in that respect and in context of the acceleration of the uap subject into the next presidency, his actions, at least to me, give a sense of urgency, possibly desperation. And in the context of potential advanced technologies, it makes me very concerned for what actions might be taken if things don't end up going their way.

It's a side of disclosure that doesn't often get talked about. I've heard people share concern about what the nhi might do, but what's more immediate to me is what might the gatekeepers do, the ones who actually risk some consequences? Is anyone else having similar thoughts?
