Most of the time my PC, but sometimes I'll pull out my DS or PSP.
PC only when I game. I never really got in to concole gaming apart from a couple of brief stints with a PS1 and an XBox.
Originally it was because I played a lot of flight Sims and then RPGs like Baldurs' Gate which didn't work for concole due to all the buttons needed.
PC and PS5. Bought an Ultrawide monitor at one point last year and that's been a little bit of a game changer for me so I'm pretty entrenched as a PC main.
My PS5 lives in the living room and my wife uses it more than I do, but God of War made that purchase all the way worth it for me with how much I enjoyed that game haha.
It used to be a desktop gaming PC connected to a TV. I sold my house and went on the road for a bit, so the full-fat gaming PC couldn’t come along. I replaced it with a gaming laptop. I have a SteamDeck that I use on the airplane/train/whatever and occasionally when I don’t feel like getting out the laptop.
Both PC and Switch sometimes. Mostly pc though
PS5, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, desktop (Linux and Windows).
I go back and forth between Steam (PC or Steam Deck) and my Switch, depending on what I'm playing. I do have a PS5 which I'll use mostly for Sony exclusives... like FF16 is going to be a PS5 play for me.
I play mostly on my Switch, because my PC (laptop running Ubuntu, though I plan to switch to Arch when I find the time) isn't very strong.
Though, I do also play go on my PC, and rarely other games.
I play games primarily on my pc, but I do occasionally play stuff on a homebrewed switch I have.
PS5, Xbox Series X occasionally, and Nintendo Switch for Mario and Zelda games. I’ve considered a Steam Deck too. But my primary is PlayStation.
PC most of the time. Currently running Arch Linux and loving it. I still have a Windows 10 partition just to run BlazBlue: Centralfiction because it doesn't recognize a 2nd controller so I can't play local multiplayer. Aside from that, couldn't be more happy with Linux.
Mostly my computer, but I've also got my PS3 beside me on the desk. For the whole family to use elsewhere is a PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, and Wii U together, and yonder elsewhere is a PS2, N64, and a Sega Genesis. Sounds like a lot, and I also think we oughta slim that down. Too much stuff that not enough of us use to justify it.
I was always a big Xbox gamer, but after I got an Xbox Series X and found that the games I play have almost no online users. So I got a PS5 and turned off my Xbox, its a whole level above Xbox.
I do some gaming on Linux (Stellaris, Crusader Kings, Endless Space 2) for strategy games.
I mainly play on my desktop PC, which dual boots Windows and Arch (obligatory I use Arch BTW) though I do have an Xbox One that I used to use before I got into PC gaming.
I also have a Nintendo Switch, which I primarily picked up because I tend to have a lot of hospital stays and it makes things a bit easier during those trips.
Finally, I also have an older MacBook Pro that runs Fedora on it, which I don't use too much (and certainly not for gaming) but it's there in case I need it!
Just PC, emulation all the way up to PS3 and Switch is so good, I don't really see a need for any console for me since I have so many games that I've never had the opportunity to play when I was younger.
EndeavorsOS Ryzen 9 7900 Trident Neo 32GB RX 6750 XT
I have a PC and a Nintendo Switch I swore I was gonna use when TOTK until giving myself a heaping backlog to get through on my pc before I start a new game anywhere- so the switch gathers dust still.
Right now I'm mainly gaming on my Switch for Nintendo first-party games, and Steam Deck for most of the rest. I have a Linux workstation that has an RX6600, so I use that for the more demanding titles, or when I just want keyboard/mouse.
100% on PC these days, Dual-Booting Linux Mint and Windows 10 on the below hardware:
- i5 12400F
- RTX 3050
- 12 GB RAM
- 512 GB SSD + 2 TB external HDD
Steam Deck, PC, PS5, Switch, Android, SBC handhelds. Pretty much anything I can game on I do to some degree.
A PC I just built this year, I have probably used it more to steam thing then play honestly. I don't have too much time to play things with kids.
A custom PC that runs modern games on good settings but is also designed to run quietly. Fan noise bugs me.
I wish I could say that I built it myself (I used to build my own systems, years ago). But instead I paid way too much for it. I'm happy with it, but yeah...build your own if you have the time and energy!
PC mainly, but a couple months ago I got a Steamdeck, and I can now play from the couch on the TV.
I've wanted to be able to play from the couch for a long time, but I did not want a PC on the TV, so this is a very good option.
I can play casually and also play coop sometimes easily.
Most importantly, I don't have to be in my "office" room, since I work from home, it is good to be away from the room I am all day working on.
I built my first ever gaming pc this year so I've been trying to get through an infinite backlog of pc games that I've missed over the years. But as of right now all my focus is going towards TOTK on Switch
My gaming desktop PC is my primary gaming rig. I run linux on there and its honestly been great, I've been really happy with my 7900XTX and it plays all games I want at 4K. My steam deck is a close second for portable/sofa gaming.
my current setup is a System76 Galago Pro laptop with a Logitech Gamepad F310. i'm really happy with my laptop, it's lightweight but still packs a Nvidia GTX 1650, an i7, and 16 GB of RAM. it runs Fedora Linux, but compatibility is mostly a non-issue since i get my games through Steam and Steam Play is pretty dang good nowadays. the Logitech Gamepad i use is also good, only cost me $20 and has everything you might expect from a controller except for haptics
Mostly PC, I have a PS5/PS4, switch, and xbox series as well. The xbox is basically collecting dust as most games that come out there are also on PC. The PS5 gets some use when there's an exclusive and the switch is somewhere.... I just don't know where.... Maybe in the couch?
I didn't buy a series this gen because everything is on pc. Well, will be once Xbox starts actually releasing decent games. Only things I'm looking forward to are starfield and hellblade.
Probably play the ps5 the most, then pc and switch rarely. It's mainly for Mario, zelda and metroid.
I own everything, but I'll be honest my preferred way to play right now is on my Steamdeck. Being able to play PS4 quality games on the sofa whilst the kids/partner has the TV is a game changer for me.
I have a series X and a midrange pc.
The pc has ryzen 5 3600 or 3500 I don't remember :p a gtx 1660 super and 16gb of memory.
Steam Deck, my Desktop computer (Nobara) and my Laptop (Fedora, pretty rare these days)
Xbox Series S ATM. I tried PC gaming for a while but I found I didn't actually do much gaming if I was using a PC and it is just easier for me to have a dedicated system for it.
Also an RG350z for retro gaming
I primarily game on PC. I also own a Switch and a PS5, and most major consoles released since the NES.
All my old consoles live in plastic bins with all their relevant cables and controllers. Most have flash carts or mods that allow me to load ROMs off external storage. When I want to play some SNES or PS1 I just pull the relevant box off of the shelf and plunk it down by my RetroTINK or my PVM.
Mainly PC or Switch. I was PS4 all last gen but switched to PC due to Sony's scummy practices. I also had a Deck briefly but the subpar hardware wasn't very enjoyable.
