Presumably, it'd be a pair of binoculars (or a monocular) that are: * Gen 3 * Unfilmed * Night vision * With infrared * Long range

Has anyone researched this? What additional considerations ought to be made to attach a video recording device (phone, DSLR, etc)?

Note: this would be for US civilians only.
