There have been two major organizations that have come out of Dearborn that have put a spotlight on the importance of the Arab and Muslim vote. One of those organizations is the Uncommitted National Movement and the other is the Abandon Harris, formally known as the Abandon Biden campaign.

While they are two different groups, the main goal of the Uncommitted National Movement and Abandon Harris is to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

“The only group that mobilized 101,000 voters to show up to the ballot box and raise their hands and say I need you to inspire me was the Listen to Michigan, Uncommitted National Movement and we came out of that experience and made an offer to the vice president’s campaign,” said Abbas Alawieh, co-founder of the Uncommitted National Movement.

“The entirety of our organizing anti-war voters, we heard from Democratic leaders say hey we sympathize with you but it has to wait until after the election as if our family lives could just be put on hold,” Alaweih added.

Alaweih says Democratic leaders did not listen to Arab and Muslim voters and he feels that helped President-elect Donald Trump win.

“In Dearborn, Michigan, Donald Trump has won the majority of votes,” said Alaweih. “This was entirely avoidable.”

The Michigan Uncommitted movement isn’t why Trump won Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Georgia, and Nevada, nor why he won the popular vote by almost 4 million votes.

Every single third party vote could be given to Harris and Trump would still win.

No one claiming the uncommitted voters cost Harris the election actually has evidence to back that up.

Instead, they’re just using the election as an excuse to push the racism and bigotry that they wanted to push regardless of how the election turned out.

Of course not. But he still won Michigan.

No one claiming the uncommitted voters cost Harris the election actually has evidence to back that up.

Not whole election, just one state. With 15 electoral votes.

Instead, they’re just using the election as an excuse to push the racism and bigotry that they wanted to push regardless of how the election turned out.

Pointing out stupidity isn't racism or bigotry.

If someone going to be affected by Trump's policies and they still voted for him or chose to not vote at all, their face is on the plate for leopards, regardless of their identity.

This is just the first convenient target for libs to vent their frustration on. We'll see a few more before the self flagellation resumes in earnest.

They've achieved their goal, right? Sure did send a message...

I'm sure the Palestinian people will be safe now.

They should give a speech with a giant "Mission accomplished" banner overhead.

Ah, here we go, we found a minority group to blame for the election outcome in 3 days. Anyone want to place bets on the next group?

One minority group? Bruh, diversification is key to success in capitalism.

Muslims, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, poors, women, queers... Leopards are coming for everyone's faces.

They're blaming Hispanics as well, and black men. Basically anyone except the only group that did vote for Trump with over 50% of vote share: white people.

Never mind that the Democratic party could've easily turned out the vote from their base by delivering or even promising anything of the below for them:

  • taxing the rich
  • enforcing anti-trust laws as a way to keep prices for anything low
  • raising the minimum wage
  • forgiving student loans for everyone instead of dicking around with various rules to figure out who's deserving
  • child tax credit

And for the love of God, stop passing laws that will only kick in after the election. Forcing producers to drop insulin prices was great, but it only kicks in next year, so now Trump gets to take credit for that one, same as how he put his signature on the pandemic checks that the Democratic Congress forced him to pass.

taxing the rich

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/kamala-harris-trump-tax-cuts-election-2024-what-to-know/

enforcing anti-trust laws as a way to keep prices for anything low

FTC was already doing that and would've continued to do so.

raising the minimum wage

God I'm tired of this baseless bullshit being spread.

Enjoy the MAGA presidency that you are getting because you think you were being ignored and chose not to even entertain the possibility of working with Harris administration.

No, all the stupid white people are coming in for a heck of a lot of blame.

You did it Dearborn Muslims! Congratulations, gold stars for all of you! Now your Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza will be glassed into a beautiful flat desert with the support of Trump. But you took the Moral High Ground™️ so good for you dumb fucks

Way to go, dumbasses.
