I hope someone told them about the Waffle House Index used (unofficially) by FEMA.

I once lived near a Waffle House outside of Nashville, and apparently corporate did some interesting math where it was determined to be cheaper to knock it down and rebuild in the same spot vs refurbishing/ deep cleaning the old spot. It was wild!

quick heads up regarding half as interesting, i never really watch them but on the few occasions i have its been about something i have a lot of nerd knowledge about (languages) and they got a lot of even their basic facts wrong (such as calling a phoneme a "phenome"). id take all of their videos with a hefty helping of salt

They do corrections videos annually. But yes as with all fact, documentary, history, science and other educational videos it's good to get other sources. In the cases of these logistics based videos it's pretty easy to get all this data as the details would be meticulously documented and most places are open about that data.

It is legitimately really cool. I'm from The Netherlands so this has literally 0 effect on me whatsoever but I'm glad that I watched this video as soon as it came out.
