I'm your average American citizen with no contacts to Trump, the Whitehouse, or the Federal Government.

I'm sure the answer is no, but is there any way I could send him a message that he would actually receive?

Ex.

Donnie,

Go choke on broken glass.

Your first mistake here is assuming he can read.

[-] DarkSurferZA@lemmy.world 55 points 2 years ago

Like, have him actually read? My man, I don't think he can.

[-] BlameThePeacock@lemmy.ca 43 points 2 years ago

If you spend enough money you probably could.

Probably on the order of $10k-100k.

For example if you rent enough billboards across the country to make the national news, or do some other such stunt.

Fox News ad in prime time for West Palm Beach and DC should do it

[-] ThatGuy46475@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

John Oliver did that at the start of his first term

[-] SpikesOtherDog@ani.social 7 points 2 years ago

If you send an open letter and it gets enough views.

[-] bizzle@lemmy.world 36 points 2 years ago

No, he cannot read

[-] ThatGuy46475@lemmy.world 28 points 2 years ago

John Oliver put commercials on Fox News

[-] jeffw@lemmy.world 28 points 2 years ago

how desperate are you to have him read your message? If you sign up for Truth Social and spend your entire day hitting “refresh,” I bet he’d read it if you can be the first reply to one of his posts

[-] SuiXi3D@fedia.io 21 points 2 years ago

I dunno, a bullet to the face seems to be the only way he'll understand.

Your FBI agent has been assigned to you. His name is Jeff.

[-] kent_eh@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 years ago

Your FBI agent

I thought Musk fired them?

  • A billboard in DC or someplace he is visiting
  • A TV commercial on Fox news
  • Go to a rally and hold up a sign

A billboard in DC or someplace he is visiting

On the route between the airport and MaraLardo.

Are you absolutely sure you want to tell a man with a fragile ego and an entire country's armed and police services at his beck and call, to, of all things, go choke on broken glass?

How do you see this going?

I don't know what message will get through to the man and change his course of action, but that ain't it.

[-] Shotgun_Alice@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago

No, but the FBI agent assigned to you will.

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago

From, {My Name}

I doubt the FBI is breaking that encryption.

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 13 points 2 years ago

Become a celebrity and say it in a soundbite on national television. His fragile ego will force a response.

Outside of that, prolly not.

[-] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 years ago

Write it on a one trillion dollar bill.

^*purchased^ ^from^ ^wish.com^ ^for^ ^$3.50^

[-] Chef@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 years ago

Don’t forget to pay the tariff!

But what if I don’t want to

[-] Deestan@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

Not in a good way. You'd have to make the news and get in trouble. (Btw without murder)

[-] Atin@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

If you paid him half a million dollars, perhaps.

[-] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago
[-] beliquititious@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 years ago

Realistically, no. You need luck more than anything.

Besides, what value does telling him that have?

[-] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

You think he reads?

[-] Thoven@lemdro.id 4 points 2 years ago

He's obsessed with his image, I would bet he spends significant time reading posts about himself on social media. Your best bet, without having a bunch of money to put towards the cause, is to post about him on truth social. However, any message of the nature of your example would be deleted before he had a chance to read it.

If you have some money but not Elon money, the suggestions from others are probably your best bet and less likely to get filtered out if negative. Billboard, swarm of social media bots, etc.

[-] DaddysLittleSlut@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

See I don’t know with your situation but for me I use global pressure to force him to read it. Like make a post on X that calls him out tagging NATO and UN and more.

[-] JustZ@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

I had a dream that he was at one of those low budget fundraisers where they serve ziti and chicken marsala, and he was seated across from me, and I got to yell at him. It was so satisfying.
