Normally I wouldn't appoint someone so new, but the story and the timing makes sense.

Good luck. The all page here does quite well. The niche stuff is having more trouble taking off on its own.

In my opinion, don't feel bad if you need to go back to certain subreddit for particular things, or if it turns up in search results. It was a great site for about a decade and reflects a huge chunk of the internet at this point (which is part of the problem.)

Myself, I just don't do general browsing there anymore, and it's nearly always in read-only unless I'm talking about Lemmy.
