When he announced the tariffs you could see the stock prices drop before your own eyes. On Fox News even. Blaming Biden is just holding off his nutcase cult members. Hopefully real Republicans have some common sense and courage to stand up.

Some Republicans don't like the direction but have active threats against their families. Which is honestly sad, forcing the remaining "good" Republicans into the private sector.
We need fair campaigns. It shouldn't cost you 100s of thousands to run a campaign to get elected. Even local campaigns cost a massive amount. You easily spend 80k for a judge position for one county.
What common man has 80k sitting around for an election?
Honestly, they should resign. If they fear for their lives, take some time to spend with their family and reevaluate their lives. Otherwise, I don't have much sympathy.

He's blaming Biden for the decline while claiming that his tariffs are going to save the economy. Those tariffs are exactly what is causing the decline in the first place, especially with the moronic way he is trying to implement them that is driving investors and business away from the US. He will drive the US economy into the ground until his entourage turns on him.

I was suspecting he was collapsing the market on purpose too. But his mental breakdown about it last night on social media suggests he simply is arrogantly incompetent and delusional.

He is not the brains behind this administration's actions, and it isn't clear how much he even understands. He is a glove puppet for the oligarchs.

Smart people looking to make money on a declining market told him some "smart" stuff to do. He believes it is smart. It is smart for the people that profit. Just hurts so many.
He believes he is special, like some kind of perfect business man where the "deals" always get done and work out in the end for him.

American people willingly join truth social and get brain washed is another level of 1984 I don’t understand.
There are only 2 types of people on Truth social. Nazis and people reporting on the Nazis on truth social. No one is joining Truth Social expecting to get anything other than Nazi propoganda.
There’s also a bunch of crypto scammers on there.
Honestly not sure there's much of a distinction between those groups anymore.
I fear this is too charitable an estimation of the average US citizen's ability to spot propaganda. I genuinely worry some people are fooled by how it's all wrapped in the flag and not understanding the dangers of nationalism or the alt right pipeline just fall for it and end up buying in, not because they were inherently a bad person, but because they were easily fooled (the main cause of which I believe is that they were intentionally not taught critical thinking skills and media literacy as those skills more easily allow us to see through the various illusions, and the same goes for emotion regulation skills, empathy, and an understanding of marginalization and intersectional politics, which protect against the coordinated effort by the system(s) and those with power to attempt to turn us against each other and see others as non-human, but that's a whole huge conversation (that I'm willing to have but not necessarily publicly; feel free to reach out if you intend to have a good faith conversation))
Kinda similar to X but at least X has some interesting things on it which isn’t just neo-Hitlerite propaganda.
The problem with X is that there were people on it when it was normal shitty and not Nazi shit and they haven't finished leaving yet, it's a slow process certain communities here, certain individuals there but there's still too much activity keeping people there.

I mean there are only a few real hard and fast rules you have to follow in life (imo):
- Don't talk about Fight Club
- No pre-orders, No exceptions
- Don't fall in love with the stripper
- Don't believe the politician's promises
Strippers and politicians are like two sides of a coin in that one pretends to love you but is just going to fuck you and the other is a stripper.
It's really just not that hard guys.
So what's wrong with the strippers?
Nothing wrong with strippers. Just don't confuse good customer service with love.
They said "the stripper" not "a stripper" which if I'm reading it correctly is... Slightly better I guess?
English isn't my first language (not even a second one) so I really don't have a clue about the difference between "the stripper" and "a stripper".
It's all good, what I'm getting at is basically this:
Don't trust the stripper = don't trust a specific one, like the one someone is paying to dance for them at any given time for a hypothetical example
Don't trust a stripper = strippers shouldn't be trusted in general
