Warhammer Boltgun, Forza Horizon 4 & Fallout 76.
Boltgun is incredible, best new game I’ve bought this year.
Fallout 76 (don’t judge) is great just to burn some time doing events with randoms and joining public teams.
I’ve really gotten into Forza Horizon 4 again recently and am also playing through that on the Deck.
I’ve added a 1tb SSD to mine so it’s running Windows and Linux meaning I’m pretty much free to play my whole library. Love the thing.
I’m currently hooked on Diablo IV. It runs perfectly on the Deck, and has ended up being the place I play it the most now.
What I noticed on the desktop, and this might not be Linux specific, is that sometimes the framerate just goes to crap until you reset specific graphic settings. I typically uncheck & check smooth shadows as that's a quick one. At least they seem to fixed the general FPS degradation over long play times that was present in the beta events.
Lies of P demo. Been waiting on BG3 release, but might keep that to PC. Thinking of picking up Cassette Beasts.
Currently playing Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (ppsspp) next will be the SC version I bought on Steam thinking it was a special edition not the second chapter...
100% agree on the controller support for BG3. I tried playing it on the deck and it was just too cumbersome for me.
Recently, I was able to get Diablo IV to play using Lutris. That has been running incredibly good.
Other than that, lots of EmuDeck! I've started replaying Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions with a patch that fixes up some issues with the base game.
Love the deck so much. You can just do so much with it.
I've been playing a lot of Tape to Tape Hockey, it's a hockey rogue lite in early access, tons of fun. Other than that, I'm slowly working my way through Octopatg 1 and waiting for AEW Fight Forever at the end of the month.
Some games through Steam I have played on Steam Deck(in no particular order): Cassette Beasts; Wizard of Legend; Skyrim; Tunic; Bugsnax. I have also played a few from Flathub through the Discover application. SuperTuxKart can be fun. Minecraft through Prism Launcher with a controller mod is decent enough, although I would prefer to have mouse and keyboard available.
I recently got Traveller's Rest and have been spending a lot of time on that. Before that it was Brotato.
Tbh I'm not really looking forward to anything in particular. For the last few months I was looking forward to Planet of Lana, and now that I've finished that there aren't any upcoming games I'm aware of that I want to play.
The Steam Deck helps feed my FFXIV addiction.
I had been playing hollow knight, but then I got yuzu and Zelda: tears of the kingdom. It's been awesome.
Here's one with freshly installed Emustation and the world of Retro Games at my disposal.
Aside from that: Witcher 3, 40k Boltgun, Hitman 3, Door Kickers: Action Squad.
Slayers X, this is a funny meta boomer shooter made by one of the characters of Hypnospace Outlaw, Hypnospace Outlaw is also great to play on the Deck.
I have been playing Hades and bejeweled on mine lately, they are some fun games
I basically bought the Steam Deck as a Hades machine and I don't regret it one bit, lol. Such a fantastic game. I've loved everything Supergiant has put out, but the replay value of Hades makes it one of my all-time favourites, and the Steam Deck is just perfect for quick rounds of a rogue-like.
