I can't believe how easy it was to make money on bitcoin using the link above! A++++++ 100%

[–] tyler@programming.dev 26 points 11 months ago

I literally said out loud as I clicked on this

SpoilerThis better be a rickroll

[–] Michal@programming.dev 21 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I was hoping for this. I was not let down.

[–] voodooattack@lemmy.world 9 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Thanks to your comment I didn’t give up on clicking that link.

[–] mogranja@lemmy.eco.br 5 points 11 months ago

I almost deserted the post

[–] mogranja@lemmy.eco.br 2 points 11 months ago

Never will be

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 8 points 11 months ago

Well played

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 5 points 11 months ago

Why is this link purple? Wait, I know why...

[–] parody@lemmings.world 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Interesting that online redirect checkers think it’s simply 404, but locally can confirm it goes to YouTube

[–] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

All of these 404 within my android Lemmy client, but work externally. Interesting.

[–] parody@lemmings.world 2 points 11 months ago

hmm wonder if maybe your client is doing something good or privacy-focused

This better not be Rick Astley...

I love a cheap thrill!

[–] thatKamGuy@sh.itjust.works 5 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Riskiest click of my career!

[–] Dicska@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

First I read Rickiest click of my career. I think it was a visionary mistake.

[–] thatKamGuy@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 months ago

β€œLook at me, Morty burp I’m Clickle Rick!”

[–] mogranja@lemmy.eco.br 4 points 11 months ago

Nice. Thanks for sharing

this could be better if it used subdomains to an evil extent - extract the main domain intended and use that:

google.com => google.phishy.pc-helper.xyz/whatever-bullshit-key-they-need

Bonus points if it works for any subdomain.

Extra bonus points for a subdomain that includes https and www (e.g. https.www.google.com.phishy.pc-helper.xyz)

These links should be used when the IT dept tests their users to see if they will compromise the system by clicking on anything.

[–] pressanykeynow@lemmy.world 22 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Do you need a test? They will.

[–] miked@piefed.social 26 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I've worked in IT. I know most users are idiots.

[–] BananaIsABerry@lemmy.zip 19 points 11 months ago

I'm a user, I know users are idiots.

[–] Beebabe@lemmy.world 8 points 11 months ago

Can confirm, as an idiot. IT hates me. But it’s mainly my kids using my Lenovo as a frisbee.

[–] HalfAHero@lemmy.world 39 points 11 months ago

ITT: someone posting an actually malicious link

[–] Ek-Hou-Van-Braai@piefed.social 36 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] uyanagi@lemmy.world 26 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Given the context, it is actually tempting to click on it... But just in case...

[–] mushroommunk@lemmy.today 10 points 11 months ago

Don't worry, it just takes you to chatgpt, skips the middleman and interacts with the bot directly

[–] schnurrito@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (2 children)

people can only see or click on that if they look at the source code because you posted it with an empty link text

[–] parody@lemmings.world 13 points 11 months ago

Good job Voyager

[–] thatonecoder@lemmy.ca 29 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] TerHu@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 11 months ago

it’s my favourite site for that really forbidden shit!!1!!!11!

[–] atkdef@lemmy.dbzer0.com 20 points 11 months ago

I'm not saying this site is malicious, but I have a feeling that, once this becomes viral and people believe these (existing) links are actually safe, this site may go rogue.

[–] BierSoggyBeard@feddit.online 18 points 11 months ago

Adding this to the list of things I never knew I needed in my life.

[–] Sailing7@lemmy.ml 16 points 11 months ago

Omg this is gold. Thanks :D

[–] P1nkman@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago
