Trump apparently thinks Lake is too much of an attention hog, which, yes, is rich.

I still can’t get over her response to people asking if she would run as his VP. She said, ‘unfortunately it’s not constitutional to hold two positions. Since I’m already the Governor of Arizona, I’d unfortunately be unable to run as his VP’.

I'm sure someone explained to her that she could resign as governor if she thought they would win.

They should fight to the death.

It's always a good idea to move in with someone before you commit.

What a terrible 'journalist.'

She should be ashamed of herself, putting her name on this drivel.

I have 100 bucks on he picks Mitt Romney

[–] aseriesoftubes@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

One of the few Republican senators to vote for conviction during the second impeachment trial? That’s quite the bold prediction, Cotton. Let’s see if it plays out.

Seriously though, what’s the basis for this prediction?

[–] Cris_Color@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

That seems like an absolutely wild prediction to me- what makes you think he'd pick Mitt Romney...?

Here's something I never thought I would say: "Mitt Romney wouldn't stoop that low." But now that I said that, I don't necessarily believe it. What are those stroke symptoms again? Glad I read the previous comments before responding.

I don’t really think he’d pick Mittens but it would be really funny if he did. But he would 1,000% take the job and justify it the same way Mike Penis did. They have no principles or soul. Being “moderate” a strategic choice.
