I'm cold. My cat would also like you to know mmmeeeaaarrrggghh! Which I'm pretty sure means she's cold.

It is cold.
At least it's sunny so the solar can pay for my heatpump but 🥶🥶🥶
I burnt my throat and airway late last week and I sound so awful people are keeping their distance from me for fear of getting sick lol.
Also, hi to all the fellow Wellington Redditors (ex-Redditors?)
Are you taking up firebreathing?
If so, the trick is to breathe the fire outwards, not inwards.
Kia ora! Fellow ex Redditor
Good morning from frosty Blenheim! I'm sitting in on this thread as there doesn't seem to be a daily in the general NZ community and I'm at work so I don't want to start one.
I didn't check in on reddit this morning as I uninstalled Relay ahead of the blackout but I'll probably be nosy on desktop later tonight. Was there much chatter about Lemmy as an alternative before it went dark?
There was over the last few days but dunno in the immediate lead up to blackout. Guess youd be able to tell based on who shows up here
Feel free, the Wellington daily thread was one of my favourite parts of Reddit so I wanted to continue that tradition.
But, honestly we're so small at the moment here that everyone is welcome. And even if we don't get so small, everyone is welcome.
Aaagh, up2 g?
Good morning!
Went op shopping with the MIL on the weekend and she said she kept running out of butter knives, but she doesn't have a proper stove so what the dots is going on there
I'm amused to note no coverage on stuff tech pages about reddit blackout despite the amount of news they source from there.
Monkey smashing their refresh on keyboard thinking maybe it's an unplanned outage probably
They're probably just trying to find out where the next article is going to come from.
And now that the Wellington subreddit has gone dark. I suspect we wait and find out how well the front page of the internet survives over the next little while.
