It won't.
- every Firefox user.
I don't think it'll even affect Chrome users. In a best case scenario, maybe they will un-roll-out all their extra attribution APIs... but I doubt that.
Privacy Sandbox gave them an excuse to add extra surveillance onto both Android and Chrome and I don't think they will ever abandon that.

If more people knew about privacy violations, things would be very different.
If more people cared to learn literally anything about their electronics beyond "I click on google to get my email", things would be very different.

Google’s post also added that a few Privacy Sandbox technologies that have seen broad adoption would be retained.
"We will be continuing our work to improve privacy across Chrome, Android and the web, but moving away from the Privacy Sandbox branding,” a spokesperson was quoted as saying.
Seems like it's not completely dead.

Smart move by Google. Odds are, everyone who cared had already moved to a more private browser.
