Dawkins' opinions have been a bit embarrassing for a while. I wrote him off a while ago. This one just adds to the pile, on top of the Epstein associations

Not sure if this makes it inherently bad because it's still not in the US, has a decent privacy policy, and the ads are contextual to your search, not targeted at any identity.
Are websites still protected by Section 230 when the results are editorialized on the fly by an LLM?
The councilman said the cameras will be abused less because they
- renewed for only 6 months instead of more

Malice? Ignorance? Plenty of both to go around.
The morning after we chatted in the Castro, [25-year-old data analyst Ben] Gonzalez told me over Instagram DM that he was unaware Mix could share patron data with neighboring businesses but did not see a problem with it. “I think it’s cute that they share it amongst other bars,” he wrote. “It’s like a little cybersecurity community .”

Why are you running around to random posts and notifying me about random accusations you're making at me? I've made my criticisms of AdmiralPatrick clear, you're just trying to do this weird obsessive witch hunt thing @godsammitdam@lemmy.zip . Stop, please. (Alts included.)

I appreciate your goodwill in calling for "exposing" someone when that word means "doxxing" in many contexts, and in saying the 4chan "pizza" call is not relevant. I'm sure people could march up to you holding a swastika screaming "blood and soil" and you'd think they were just a Hindu fan of dirt and medicine.
I absolutely second this.
Somebody in this thread - among insistence that nobody would ever behave badly in DMs - posted a public call to " expose " any friends of AdmiralPatrick.
Over sixty people read the message calling a person "cancer" and gave it a thumbs-up. No pushback from the righteous people here.
It's not lost on me that it's identical to what AdmiralPatrick did - calling his enemies bigots and probably using it as justification for DDOSing db0. Or that "expose" is the euphemism used by people who do the doxxing to feel less dirty about their behavior.
