Ship building: the USA cannot easily replace sunk or damaged vessels. But China can.

The production capacity difference overall between our two countries is frightening on its own comparison. We'd get brief swiftly in the dirt by China and god help us if it draws out.

US production capacity was basically bled dry by Ukraine and Israel. It'll take years to recover, and Ukraine doesn't seem to be ending and Israel is itching to start up again. Plus, it wants war with Venezuela too?

Maybe this is why they want to get rid of the computer touching jobs and get us back in the factories, so we can build their war.

"victory our only acceptable end state.” Since fucking when? We haven't won ANYTHING meaningful since WW2.

Good. It is more than enough that the US has destroyed and is still destroying South East, Central and South West Asia. No need for the US to also destroy East Asia.

funny thing is that the writer talks as if ukraine was winning the war.

I noticed that as well. 🤣

one way to not lose a war with china is by not going to war with china. Ok I admit its much more complicated then that, but we should stop thinking that war is somehow inevitable

I don't think anybody on the planet is winning that war.

I mean, it's just bodies, no hopes, dreams, siblings, parents, or children to worry about.
