I personally don’t agree, but respect for the candor.
In general I agree with you. If you haven't seen this movie, IMO it's his best performance by far.
Is it any good?
It is VERY good. It may be the best film I've seen this year. At minimum there are beautiful scenes and cinematography that will stick with you long after the film ends.
It is good, definitely amongst the top 3 films released in 2025 that I've seen (of which amounts to 30 as of this comment).
I got to see it in VistaVision format. To me the image seemed very sharp and vibrant compared to a digital projector.
Digital usually distros in 4k, a proper projected vistavision print is 8k + in comparative sharpness. I love seeing vista stuff.
