Finally, a good data breach.

[-] saigot@lemmy.ca 148 points 8 months ago

Hey there was also that pink power ranger leaking the white supremacist dating site.

[-] dublet@lemmy.world 31 points 8 months ago

pink power ranger

I wonder what the other ones are up to.

The power rangers introducing themselves, "Blue power!", "Red power!", "Green power!", "Uh well, hi"

[-] FiniteBanjo@feddit.online 20 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Oh they breached that data good. Breached it so hard there eas nothing left.

[-] Cethin@lemmy.zip 19 points 8 months ago

Someone should compare the two. I'm sure there's some overlap.

[-] Meron35@lemmy.world 23 points 8 months ago

The recruitment websites of right wing militant groups have such poor security that leaks happen all the time. Perhaps unsurprisingly, 2/3 of the Oath Keepers are former military and/or law enforcement officers. The leak obtained by DDOSecrets included membership ID, membership type, name, physical and email address, and join date.

Inside The Pro-Trump Militant Group The Oath Keepers - The Atlantic - https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2020/11/right-wing-militias-civil-war/616473/

The database leak included such granular detail that economists have been able to study their firm-like behaviours, including

  • running discount codes for memberships
  • promises of pre-order welcome packages that are never fulfilled
  • "Tiers" of membership types

There's been a lot of those. Some more easily accessible than others.

The book Hacks, Leaks, and Revelations: The Art of Analyzing Hacked and Leaked Data is rather interesting and Micah delves into how you might contribute in analyzing the data...

Article indicates the data was sent directly to ICE List and they’ll post it Tuesday night (tonight)

[-] RaskolnikovsAxe@lemmy.ca 123 points 8 months ago

FUCK YES.

Someone get on this right away and catalogue how many of these fuckwit numpties are also Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, neo-Nazis, 3%ers, Boogaloos, Patriot Fronters, etc.

I notice a lot fewer of these people anywhere now, it's like they just disappeared...where are the counter protests? Whatever could be keeping them busy?

[-] Earthman_Jim@lemmy.zip 58 points 8 months ago

I would like to see a list cross referencing J6ers to current ICE tools.

[-] snooggums@piefed.world 32 points 8 months ago

I would love to see their criminal history. Many of them probably have sexual and other violence rap sheets for days.

[-] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 28 points 8 months ago

Lots of domestic violence.

[-] snooggums@piefed.world 13 points 8 months ago

I assume an even higher ratio than cops.

[-] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 17 points 8 months ago

Spot fucking on! +1!!! After ICE is shut down, the unions and any decent company should maintain the list for "do not fucking hire."

[-] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 17 points 8 months ago

I'd also wonder how many pardoned J6ers are on their ranks.

He said individual reports from the public have also “spiked” “a lot” since Good’s shooting. “I’ve had hotel staff sending post-it notes, bar staff sending DHS IDs, and loads of people saying their neighbour is an agent,” he said.

Heartwarming :) May their lives be miserable.

[-] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 27 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Love that the “report your neighbor” SS is getting the tables turned on them.

[-] mvilain@fedia.io 73 points 8 months ago

Time to start sending "GTFO" letters to their homes, schools, and churches. Let the communities they live in know what pieces of shit they are.

[-] frustrated_phagocytosis@fedia.io 18 points 8 months ago

Follow them to the store, asking if they're a US citizen and ignore any responses, just keep asking again and again like you didn't hear anything. Go in stores and restaurants ahead of them and announce that ICE is here.

[-] BedSharkPal@lemmy.ca 28 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Sure they wouldn't leak the details of the murderer Jonathan Ross!

Sounds like they should be ready for some door-to-door operations. I'm sure they'll reap only that which they have sown.

Aww, so sad. Wouldn't it be a shame if someone starting breaking down their doors with no warrant or cause?

Do not engage in violence with them. Make their lives miserable without violence. Let their communities know who they are, expose them to their neighbors, make them become pariahs. Some will live in places that root for them, but many will be "normal" people to the eyes of everyone, hiding their shit because they know their communities will despise them.

There is where they can be hurt. Make their spouses lose their job for being an ICE spouse, make their kids ask uncomfortable questions. Make their neighbors avoid them.

[-] DERRALEXANO@sh.itjust.works 19 points 8 months ago

They will write a book about how persecuted they are and then raise a $100,000 on gofundme. Ghouls the lot of them.

[-] TheOakTree@lemmy.zip 13 points 8 months ago

You beat me to it. Fortunately, I don't the majority of the MAGA base can afford to do it too often, so we just need to ramp up the intensity and frequency.

Make their spouses lose their job for being an ICE spouse

I suspect a non-trivial percentage of the spouses may be victims in abusive reltionships - the loss of employment could make it harder to extract themselves and their kids from the situation.

make their kids ask uncomfortable questions.

as long as the kids are not harrased and they start asking because daddy is a piece of shit? 100% 👍

Make their neighbors avoid them

ab-so-fucking-lutely!

I look forward to MAGA Hunters. Heck, make it into a videogame, where the profiles and rap sheets of these fuckers are used for wanted posters.

Here's hoping we get a torrent of this data.

[-] TheKaul@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 8 months ago

Putting up the info of these people on Wanted posters is such a great idea. If I'm able to get my hands on this info I know exactly what I'm doing lol.

Accidentally

[-] the_riviera_kid@lemmy.world 15 points 8 months ago

Post it everywhere, print it out and leave it in public places, don't let them have a moments peace.

[-] BromSwolligans@lemmy.world 15 points 8 months ago

Couldn't happen to a nicer group of Nazis.
