Doesn't this make this instance more centralized? In fact, I've seen instances like lemm.ee using "All" by default.

The defaults are set per user, I believe, not per instance.

I don’t love browsing by all - I love the variety in content but people aren’t marking things NSFW and I don’t love the surprises 😬
