$16M/yr seems like low end starter money these days. That seems mostly appropriate for him, although it still seems like Detroit has a few too many bigs (Stewart, Duren, Wiseman, Bagley) and I think Duren looks more promising as a 5, and I don't know if I really see Stewart as a 4 to pair with him.

I agree, Duren had some terrific stretches last season and surely has a higher ceiling, but whatever, it's not my money 😁 Maybe it's more indicative of their lack of faith in the other two players you mentioned lol

He's improved his 3 a lot last year. Plays good defense. I am happy that the Pistons are keeping him, but we definitely need to figure out our big situation lol. We should just get rid of Bagely at this point, let Wiseman feast off the bench, and start Duren and Stewart/Bogdanovic if Bogdanovic switches between the 3 and 4.
