Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

Another week in the bank! Nice work all. Today's game is simple, Person A asks a question. Person B then has to answer without using the words yes or no, and asks their own question. Either answer a question below or pose your own question

have you ever traveled to another country?

[–] sunbrrnslapper@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

All. The. Time. Also, my home office is pink.

Do you have plans for Valentine's day?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I do, they involve watching Olympic hockey and eating chocolate. I'm living the dream!

Do you like sports?

[–] sunbrrnslapper@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

Not even a little! Haha

Although your plans sound awesome 😊

I have an Ouroboros on my back because Dana Scully is my hero.

How many different alphabets or logographies do you know?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Errrrmmm... one alphabet and I had to Google that other word to find out what it is haha.

Are you good at learning languages?

[–] Wren@lemmy.today 1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

I'm bad at it, I just love alphabets, symbolism, and the way we extract meaning from visual representation — like with semaphore, sign language, math symbols and greek letters, for examples.

How many new words did you learn this week?

[–] cactusfangs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

That’s too much commitment for me.

Do you like vanilla?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 2 points 6 months ago

Love it! It gets a rep for being basic but it's delicious

Do you like dogs?

A henna sleeve, mandala on shoulder, lotus with om on left upper back, phoenix on right upper back, lotus/unalome/endless knot on left calf, Howl's Moving Castle on right calf.

And the makings of my next one is always in my head 😂

What was the last thing that made you genuinely laugh?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 4 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Watching 28 years later the bone temple with my friend yesterday! We had a blast.

Do you like horror films?

[–] Kayday@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I love horror films! Been meaning to watch 28 Years Later after a friend recommended it to me. My favorite is The Witch, have you seen it?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

You can definitely watch 28 years as a stand alone, but I'd really recommend watching 28 days and weeks first. 28 days is one of my all time favourite films, and 28 weeks has an incredible opening sequence.

I've not seen that but I'm not big on horror I'm too easily freaked out. Love post apocalyptic stuff though. Do you have any post apocalyptic recommendations?

[–] Kayday@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Makes sense, thanks!

You've made me realize I don't watch too many post apocalyptic movies lol. As far as my recommendations go, Pontypool is an underrated gem IMO. Sort of takes place as the apocalypse is happening, so not quite the same, but it's a fun watch. The Mist is similar, but is pretty emotionally heavy by the end.

What is your favorite post apocalyptic film?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 2 points 6 months ago

I thought the mist was amazing! Could only watch it once though it's too dark, like the long walk.

28 days later is my favourite, what's yours?

[–] HowlsSophie@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

Watching a video about a couple where the wife always steals the husband's hoodies in hilarious ways as soon as he walks in the door, then proceeds to steal random stuff in the kitchen and twerk before disappearing.

Have you ever been skydiving?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 points 6 months ago

Never and definitely never would, not brave enough. Do you like extreme sports?

[–] HowlsSophie@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Do you have a favorite food?

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Absolutely love chocolate.

Do you eat much take out food?

[–] HowlsSophie@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Thank you for responding to these. I realized too late that it wasn't Friday 😂

[–] LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 points 5 months ago
