Thanks, I’m happy you like it! It’s from the ancient lands of soup.io. Luckily, I saved my timeline before the platform went offline β€” and now some of my favs get a second life here.

Except while scissors beat paper, paper couldn't cover rock because it was too fucking cold.

The Soviet one is not real, right? There is a German communist party symbol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roter_Frontk%C3%A4mpferbund, but I don't remember any Russian or Soviet symbols with a fist.

Idk where it was born, but the raised fist is the international symbol of solidarity, still is. The soviets did not invent, or own it, even as they adopted it.

Greg Bovino liked a related joke, they had pictures of him and his ice underlings, one raises the fist of solidarity, not unique to the soviets I would add it's the international symbol of solidarity, and the labor movement, that the soviets adopted but didn't own, and they other guy would cover it up with the outstretched hand. It's like a nazi joke, the seig heil beat the solidarity.

Get it? Ha ha. Assholes. I hope Bovino receives what he tried to give.

As a side Churchill's v for victory sign is extremely close to the traditional British version of πŸ–• in that you do the two fingers with the back of your hand towards the person your doing it to rather than the front.

So Churchill is literally sticking his middle finger up to Hitler
