I'd settle for being able to monetize ANY of my hobbies. Being able to sell (and live off) something I made because I felt like it would be great.

Honestly, I have a hard time staying interested in hobbies due to this.

Just so hard wired to think of expression as having some capital, either financial or social.

Any time I have some thought, I am asking.. Hmm is there value in this? I understand expression for expression's sake but we are social animals in the end. And that need for validation taints it.

I grapple with it. But getting better. Have some private hobbies and slowly pecking at them.
