I would prefer liberals to actually acknowledge what is currently happening is bad.
They either seem to be totally ignorant or holding their breath hoping that everything will somehow "return to normal" after the midterms.
I think once they can understand that what is going on around them is unacceptable, then we can slowly tell them that the normal they want to return to was never great to begin with.

If they did, they wouldn't be championing unjust laws, and the arbitrary enforcements. The “normal” they want to return to is where their arbitration and injustice suited them. They are willfully ignoring laws fascists break, while demanding us to “peacefully protest.” Only when fascists are breaking their doors down, abducting their own, raping, and shooting them, it's when it clicks “did we policy wrong”?

Just like they criticized Trump's first term policies and then pivoted to defending them as soon as Biden continued them. Many examples of this.
