Unfortunately some other big cities in the Netherlands still need to wake up to the idea cars aren't a sustainable focus towards the future when it comes to local transport.
I'm seeing very little movement on this in for example The Hague.

3. No Trolling
Go troll somewhere else. We don't need that shit here.
4. No comment screenshots
Please don't post screenshots of stupid comments as a post. We all know there are ignorant morons online, we don't need to bring even more attention to their stupid comments.
5. No vehicular cycling
Jason has no patience for advocates of vehicular cycling, and neither do we. You can talk about vehicular cycling, but if you promote it as an alternative to safe bike infrastructure, you may be banned. You can post that crap somewhere else.
6. No people being hit by cars/road violence
Do not show videos or pictures of people being hit by cars, or other road violence. We don't need to see that shit. We know cars are dangerous, and many people have bad memories of car crashes. Keep it out of this subreddit.
7. No tone policing
We don't need any more tone police. If you don't like the tone that Not Just Bike takes in his videos, there's a very easy solution: stop watching them.

Waarom zeg je dit? Wat is er mis met Den Haag?
Mis is gelijk weer zo'n zwaar woord maar Den Haag is voor een grote stad nogsteeds behoorlijk pro-auto.
Den Haag is in Nederland de koploper qua autodichtheid, en dat merk je toch aardig aan het leven hier. Er zijn best wel wat meer auto's in deze stad dan dat er (met name parkeer, maar in de spits ook gewoon verkeer) capaciteit is om dat op te vangen, met alle ongelukken en parkeermalaise die daar bij hoort.
Dat gerommel rond bijvoorbeeld de tram in de goudenregenstraat waar er nog steeds een non-triviaal aantal mensen afscheid willen nemen van een hele tramlijn (!) voor het behoud van een strookje parkeerplaatsen is daar ook zo'n symptoom van.
Er is verder afgezien van wat hogere vergunningskosten ook nog steeds amper beleid tegen het hebben van meerdere auto's per huishouden of onnodig grote auto's, zoals mensen die het verzinnen dat ze in Den Haag een Dodge Ram nodig hebben. Blijft toch ook een item zeker in wijken waar je sowieso al minder dan een halve parkeerplek per huishouden hebt.
Gaat toch een keer om moeten, die mentaliteit rond de vanzelfsprekendheid van autobezit in Den Haag. De fysieke ruimte om gewoon klakkeloos gehoor aan die onbeperkte vraag naar auto's te geven hebben we gewoon niet.
