Personal favorite was one time I referenced how an electric razor worked, and a redditor nitpicking the mechanism ended with 'you'll figure it out when you get your first boyfriend, honey.'

Afaik, the ingame model has no facial hair at all. It's only on the box art.

Things like that are usually photo mode or cinematic only. Things where you can either expect the player to not notice mild latency, and you can turn off the rest of the universe except for what's on screen.

Games are shockingly good at hiding absolutely everything that doesn't need to be sent to the render system.
