Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Good journalists do not lick rich assholes boots, well done. I am fed up of many letting rich assholes spread all the fud they want. This enterview was refreshing.
this effing moron still cant get self driving to work and many of his competitors have surpassed his self driving efforts by a wide margin. But he's going to change the world with ai and robots huh. right. He's a bullshitter who buys companies and cosplays as a visionary. Just like with tesla, just like with spaceX. He doesnt know how to do the work to get there though, or how to maintain it once he buys a real visionary out.

That's absolutely insane, and has no basis even in the hypothetical reality he proposes.
Very obviously Robots + intelligence <> infinite resources.
He has lost it completely.

I am curious how Elon expects robots to create infinite abundance with limited resources.
Where those robots are going to be getting fresh water? Nuclear energy? Rare earth for GPUs? They are all limited.
There is also only a limited amount of CO2 you can pump into the atmosphere until you create uncontrollable spiraling of greenhouse effect. And since basically all consumption creates additional CO2, you can't have infinite consumption without causing infinite CO2

Just goes to show that billionaires have no taste. Whether it is home-grown versus store bought tomatoes or gluing gold spray-painted plastic to the walls, their lack of aesthetic is showing.
