- Comics should be a full story, from start to finish, in one post.

- Moderators have final say on what and what does not qualify as appropriate. Use common sense, and if need be, err on the side of caution.

- Comics should be made and posted by real human beans, not by automated means like bots or AI. This is not the community for that sort of thing.

π½οΈ Credit Where Credit is Due
- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!

- Post an image, gallery, or link to a specific comic hosted on another site; e.g., the author's website.
- Meta posts about the community should be tagged with [Meta] either at the beginning or the end of the post title.

I... You know what we should make a combination everclear/whatever they call those drinks for old people like ensure. Call it The Mondays, sell em by the case. As business supplements.

Yep that's why it exists. American petroleum engineers and techs working in Arab states where alcohol is banned. It's also why it's called that since screwdrivers are used by almost everyone.
There's no clear origin to the name. Both tales on Wikipedia refer to using a screwdriver to stir the drink at work.
While there's no clear origin I can certainly tell you why they would keep calling it a screwdriver while hiding their drinking around their Arabian ESL colleagues

I always put a shirt when on company calls β I wouldn't trust the camera not suddenly turning on (or myself β not turning the camera on by accident).
Not pants tho β they are staying in the closet.
Put the pants on the back of the chair as a power move. They can't see that you're not wearing pants, but they can see you're not wearing those and wonder

With what was posted there, it's enough for me that it originated on 4chan at all. Part of me wants to tell people what kind of place the rickroll came from, but then I'd be hard pressed to explain why on Earth I ever went there. You can't separate all evolved cultural trends from that place, but there is just no way it's ever going to sit right with me.

I am glad that when I did a team shuffile I was left out of team meetings so now I have no meeting at all.
This is better than winning the lottery.
If you won the lottery and wisely invested the money, you could live off of it, quit your job, and also not have to go to team meetings.

At my job I basically never have meetings since Iβm a resource to do work and not technically a βteam memberβ on any projects. Recently, some of my younger coworkers were talking about doing 8am stand-ups with the whole department to allow people to chip in about eachotherβs work, and I almost lost it.

Now in a new job that doesn't have meetings. At all. I think our manager protects us from them. Or perhaps he protects the rest of the company from us?

I think our manager protects us from them.
Most (good) managers don't want to be in these meetings any more than you do. Especially since they'd have to be the one running it and doing a lot of the talking. Manager might just be protecting themself.
