The words you use in your head matter. Don't call it hiding away, that makes it sound like something you're not supposed to do. Call it clearing your head, self care, taking a break, or whatever. Those are normal things to do and come down to exactly the same act of taking some private time.

Giving yourself permission to "hide" is still negative self talk.

I wouldn't say hide, but more like just completely isolate, let everything go and run.

Constantly, it's one of the voices in the back of my head. It's constantly whispering "run" "just give up", it's just the easiest solution to nearly everything and if it didn't work the first time. Do it again.

It seems weird, but I go into work early just for some “me time” to start my day. Eat breakfast, play MY music, catch up on stuff (home and work) . I’ll clarify that at 5:30AM, I’m the first and only in the building until 6AM.
