Image comics in general has tons of great stuff that isn't superhero genre and Boom is really getting some good stuff lately. I'm a huge Tynion fan, so Something is Killing the Children, Department of Truth and Nice House on the Lake really stood out the last few years.
Comic Books
A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.
Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.
There is only one rule:*
Comic Books is a no judgement zone.
You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.
If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.
* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(
I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.

I like your list & would recommend
Black Science.
Monstress
I also enjoyed
Elephantmen.
Low.
East of West. Hickman in general is good.
Anything by Mike Carey - if you like Sandman you will like Lucifer, and he also did Darkness Visible, Highest House and some mainstream stuff.
Seconded the Lucifer recommendation.
The Maxx was pretty out of it. To be fair, I watched the animated version, but I can only assume the comic was more wierd
Trashman
70s, hobo, superhero, sex fiend IIRC
Picked up the compilation at a 2nd hand store. Adult themes and graphic depictions.
Congrats on The Invisibles and The Incal. I still remember when Animal Man #1 was released in the newsagents.. I may have a copy around somewhere.
For more Morrison and Moore, trawl the 2000AD back progs/graphic novels.
Future Shocks short strips by Moore. I think he did DR. and Quinch also. A-grade
Other stories of merit from 80s-90s 2000AD:
Zenith
PJ Maybe
Button Man
Finn
Also,
Milk & Cheese
is unique and fun.
The one hand and six fingers might fit your interest quite well. Anything Ram V will fit btw, his stories are all thoughprovacotive in one way or another.
