Of course they should be opposed. Even today nobody can articulate the benefits of alternative intelligence. This is just another version of risky kool-aid being passed around. The only goal is making you dependent and getting your hard-earned dollar. Fuck that particular brand of bullshit.

That's not what AI data centers are for... I'd agree to a normal "data storage" style data center that doesn't consume exorbitant amount of power and cooling.
