Regarding the situation in Crimea, I think one of the more telling shortages is candles.
People need candles because they don't have electricity, but now it's hard to even get candles.
Candles is usually a well stocked item, because they have no limit on shelf life.
There is lots of other content in the video, so I don't think this is too much of a spoiler. Let's just say this one is worth a watch more than average IMO.
I know that Russian opposition politicians aren't allowed to criticize Putin's war, but I wonder would they get away with a campaign where they simply say "vote for me and I'll end the fuel shortages" and if they get challenged to explain how, they simply say "I'm sure I'll think of something" and wink exaggeratedly, and refuse to elaborate further. Because literally everyone in Russia knows what the solution is, they're just not allowed to say it out loud. I wonder what nonsense Putin would have to come up with to justify arresting them then.
100% they would not be allowed to do that. Putin is using all kinds of stupid tactics to prevent unwanted opposition.
If I remember correctly, the last time it was a stupid copyright violation. He just makes shit up, or have people do it for him.

Rules:
-
No sympathy with the enemy or its collaborators. Russian and North Korean soldiers are fascists committing a genocide. Remember that.
-
Objective and factual reporting from the battlefield, parliaments, etc. is encouraged, even if it's about bad news for Ukraine.
-
Insulting Putin and his cronies (Orban, Trump, Musk,...) is absolutely fine but don't use homophobic or similar language against them. Members of the queer community don't deserve to be compared to that scum. Also: Putin disciminates against gay people. If you do as well, you're part of the problem.
-
Don't insult or use overly harsh language against other commentators.
