We’ve had thoroughly enjoyable time in South Holland. There are great walks along the canals and loads of lovely small restaurants to choose from. The Dutch are friendly, courteous and helpful people.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the Latvian holiday park neighbours whose music taste is bad, to put it mildly, and their ghetto blaster far too loud for their own good.

Latvian's / Estonian's / Lithuanians love their music, they have entire choir festivals going back hundreds of years. Choir. Not church singing (the damn pagans), not music festival, choir.

You could tie them to a chair and throw em in a well, and they'd sing their way out by levitating from intrinsic vocal control

This lot seemed to be more into techno.

"How dare you there is no such thing as bad techno"

Said someone, probably.

It was good thanks! Just been mega busy. We took a long weekend trip up to Scotland, which was stunning! Kids absolutely loved it, and I managed to get a run in too.

It was my son's birthday yesterday, so went to The Crocky Trail near Chester which was a blast.

Lots of driving though and I feel absolutely exhausted despite having a few days off work. Life just feels absolutely none stop at the moment!

My dad's out is hospital and is now in a care home for rehabilitation to get him mobile again. He keeps asking for things and expecting me to be able to do things at the drop of a hat.

Was having a bit of a confused even depressive start to the week, had no idea why. Then I decided to clean the room I work in. Create some space, let some light in, wipe down the surfaces. Having a great week now at the moment.

Might even start going to the gym again after having fallen hard off that wagon a few months ago (fell down some stairs, and shattered my ankles, and recovery has been slow. Plus I clearly was exercising stupidly in the fitness classes as I have weird joint aches that I never used to have before)
