MAGA thinks they smell blood in the water on the trans issue, so that's their chosen wedge issue for the foreseeable future. I'm the past it was abortion, flag burning, kneeling, gay adoption, gay marriage, gay gayness, etc.

The proper answer to any trans nonsense is: "I am not a doctor, and I won't presume to interfere with the medical decisions between any patient and their doctor, on any subject. I have absolutely no opinions on this subject, and do not consider it an appropriate subject for a political discussion. It is an appalling and indefensible political strategy to use any medical issue as a political talking point, so I'm not interested in your opinion either."

That works for ANY medical issue, including abortion.

We have donnie trying to rig elections, we have donnie doing illegal tariffs, everything is expensive AF and AI is threatening so many jobs, the conservatives ripped away our healthcare and fucked up the food supply, we have a war with Iran and the strait is closed...

And all the conservative want to talk about is trans while donnie is preoccupied with stupid golden ballrooms, getting his name on everything, posting stupid AI memes and gluing tacky gold shit on the walls of the WH.

Conservative rednecks are apparently fine with all this other shit as long as there is not gender affirming care for anyone (they talk about minors first, but...get real) and "men in women's sports".

While left-leaning Democrats have gained momentum within their own party by winning primaries, the real challenge is whether they can get elected in November during the general election.

This isn't really true. A ton of Americans are ready to vote for a socialist and enough of the rest would come over when they hear about the policies. The tough part is getting through the DNC's filter and get past the millions they'll throw at your opponent to fuck over anyone who challenges their hegemony

That's why they keep hammering on it. That particular issue is about 80% in their favor, but the other thing is....the amount of people we are talking about is sometimes zero in certain jurisdictions.

So these yokels are voting against their own interests in nearly every way about an "issue" that is possibly not even a thing in their area.

It requires a staggering amount of hatred and delusion. If you talk to some of these people they'll start talking about the "people with blue hair" and "transgender ideology" almost without any prompting whatsoever. It really is something that they have been trained to think and talk about constantly.
