Rule 5 on the sidebar says "No Enciting Harassment," but should probably say "No Inciting Harassment" instead.

I am pretty sure they meant to say enticing. You can harass people as long as it isn't enticing for others which is completely fair.

That’s only if it’s from France, otherwise it’s just sparkling harassment.

[-] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

OK, whatever dude.

[-] Grostleton@lemmy.dbzer0.com 21 points 2 weeks ago

How do you know it wasn't meant to be "No exciting harassment" ? Could just be the mods don't want people with heart conditions to be in danger while getting a good ole fashioned harassing.

[-] Monument@piefed.world 11 points 2 weeks ago

Just boring harassment.

I’m going to go dig a hole next to your property. It’ll have all the correct permits, but I’m going to start construction while you’re sleeping in and I’m going to put a fence around it that prevents you from looking into the hole to see why I’m digging.

[-] luthis 6 points 2 weeks ago

You devious mother fucker. What's in the hole? It must be something very important to cover it up like that, surreptitiously digging it out overnight while you're away from watching eyes.

[-] YaDownWitCPP@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

It's just a great way to get in shape! Honest.

[-] Monument@piefed.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Oh, no, not overnight, just that one rare Saturday morning that nobody wakes you up, the pets and or kids are lazing and you’re getting that excellent stolen morning sleep that just restores your body and heals your soul, allowing you to feel like you can keep going.
But then there’s the clatter of tools and construction equipment.

So we can harass as long as it's not enticing to others or just to the person we are harassing ? If they agree it's not enticing, then its fine, Correct?

How would one define a harassment as enticing or not. ?

[-] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

It doesn't say enticing though.

[-] daannii@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Oh damn I misread.

But that also means enticing harassment is allowed for sure.

[-] papalonian@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

I think it's supposed to say, "No Enviting Harassment", like they don't want you to envite that kind of behavior here.

[-] tomi000@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Did you get my harrassment envitation?

[-] CIA_chatbot@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

Imma encite you soooo hard

[-] bacon_saber@fedia.io 4 points 2 weeks ago

I'm so encited! I'm so encited!
