I had to delete TikTok this weekend because of this. The algorithm was doing way way too well at constantly rage baiting me and keeping my screentime at impressive records. Detoxing from this case has been legitimately difficult. The conspiracy theorists were going to send me into psychosis

Addiction. Genuinely. I quit vaping earlier this year and I guess scrolling short form content was how my brain filled the need for constant dopamine hits
Genuinely not sure TT and social media are less damaging than smoking.
First, congrats.
Second, I got revanced on my phone and it lately has this weird quirk where it has an unstoppable pause every fifteen minutes. Really helps me refocus on what I really gotta do.
As someone with no skin in the game and who hasn't bothered paying much attention to this case, this feels like the 2020s version of the O.J. trial.
This has way more of a mass hysteria/psychosis lean to it
