What will happen? Is the UK going to send 100 nukes at Russia, and then Russia sends 100 back at the UK depleting approximately 1% of Russia's nuclear stockpile?
First thing that will happen: Article 5.
Then we can expect a measured but dissuasive response from NATO but not enough to trigger a nuclear war. It is up to anyone's guess from there. It could be the entirety of Russia's Navy fleet being turned into permanent submarines. Or for NATO becoming directly involved in Ukraine and wiping out the Russian forces there. Or something else altogether.
