U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an order directing the interior secretary to rename Lake Ontario to "Lake America" as Canada trade war persists.

Trump cannot force Canada to follow his preferred naming convention, however.

The move is reminiscent of his move last year to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America."

They could have just called it the Rogers Skydome, and nobody would have cared. I'm more mad about that than I am with the orange pedo having another tantrum with Lake Ontario.

It's all just an attempted distraction from the Republicans' ruinous economic and social policy. And hoping we forget about the Epstein files. Release the full Epstein files, with only victims images and PIA redacted.

But Rogers was just being senselessly stupid. They weren't trying to cover up being pedophiles, afaik, so why did they do it?

Obama reverted it's name to Denali, but of course Trump undid that.

Ultimately I think the solution is to call the mountain itself Denali (because of course that's its name), and if you have to placate all the idiots in Ohio, rename the national park (because the park is a federally administered thing) to "McKinley."

No Lake Michigan is Lake Epstein. Don't need to rename Canada's great lakes and Lake Michigan is all in their borders. Also that is the one the FBI complaint alleges Trump witnessed the newborn of a 13 yr old Epstein victim murdered and dumped. If people want to get under his deathly orange skin run with that one.

I haven't met a single person who is even willing to acknowledge the name change of the SkyDome. There's no way anyone pays any sort of attention to him trying to rename a lake.
