Firefox better stop with pushing AI and features that no one wants.
All of the AI functions can be disabled with a single checkbox.
Still rather they spend the resources they spend on AI elsewhere.
And the ai be opt-in in the first place. I guess they know no one would enable it otherwise.
I was getting annoyed when they had a brief period where it seemed like every new feature was AI-related but they’ve calmed down on it a bit, thankfully. Just flip the no-AI toggle and still enjoy everything else they’ve done lately, like better HDR support, YouTube improvements, pdf tools, vertical tabs, containers, etc.
Containers plus Sidebery is how I managed to convince some people to move to Firefox. Cookie isolation across tab groups is the best thing ever.
