What does Saturn have to do with human consumption?

Saturn is also the Roman name of one of the titans from Greek mythology (Cronos). It was prophesized that Cronos would be overthrown by one of his children, so he would eat them. The drawing is based on a famous painting by Francisco Goya.

And fun fact: Goya never named it that. People just assumed. Somewhat related, he had a lot of mental health issues.

Wow... and still that's tame compared to the bible. I'm impressed.

Ironic choice for a painting that was never intended to be seen by anyone but the artist.

And yet it also seems highly apropos. Goya was paid handsomely to paint the out-of-touch elites of the Spanish royal court, yet he used his private sketchbooks and prints to expose their greed, ignorance, and vanity. This seems like a modern take on that sort of thing.
