I'll stick with my indie games. Got dins champion recently, still think drox operative 2 is my favourite soldak game but after making a second char after a few hours and learning how to play a bit I am starting to get into this a bit more.

I've seen way way way more here on Lemmy bitching about GTA 6 than I have seen actually about it. The complaining about rockstar and GTA 6 is probably 80% of all the rockstar content I see here.

I'm not buying GTA6, and I wouldn't care if R* burned to the ground. They're union busting assholes, and all the money they'll harvest from GTA6 will simply tell them they can continue being union busting assholes.

I kinda feel like it's going to struggle to live up to all this hype, no matter how good it is.

I just want to hear about the free build floating out in the wild. Or how long it will take for Empress and her Glorious Might to crack the damn thing.

I haven't heard anything about them using Generative AI, or not as the case may be, so I think you're just going out of your way to find content to be annoyed by it.

Bots and bot-like figures that post to communities I've been blocking, as well as domains that I find to not aggregate much and that are posted to communities. GTA6 noise coming to my feed then becomes minimal, and I'd suggest the same then.

I'm sick of it too but if you think the release will quieten the internet down I've got some bad news for you. Same thing happened with GTAV.

Live and let die I guess. This is an interesting case of what people's bubbles look like. I saw the thing on Netflix, don't think much of it, but I'm not in spaces where people think about this enough to put it in my face. Sorry that's not the case for you, I'm sure it's annoying, but I haven't seen it much, or I scroll past it I guess.

Feels nice to be on the other side of this issue for once. I'm thoroughly enjoying everything surrounding this release, from rumors to actual news, theories and so on and so forth. I just love GTA, maybe the only non niche game i enjoy that much. (At the same time i hate what rockstar games did to gta online so i didn't touch gta V in quite a while, which fuels my hype even more)

When it's released you're going to hear about nothing but bugs and plot points and patches.

Somehow I seem to have avoided a lot of talk on GTA 6. No doubt there are countless discussions online and youtube analysis videos etc, but unless you're actively searching for these I've found it pretty easy to avoid?

Am I just good at ignoring stuff? Where are people visiting that they're getting overwhelmed with GTA content?
