What’s the deal with this release? I’m still on 0.10.14. Should I upgrade to 0.10.15 or this?
Instead of keeping markdown files as source of truth, they moved to having a DB. And you can only export the notes into MD (AFAIK). OG is the (most probably) abandoned branch without the DB

I updated to 0.10.15, but I'm intending to zip up the folders and install this "OG" version.. when I have a few minutes spare where I can deal with the potential issues the app might have
This just seems like a clear time to change and switch to another knowledge graph.
Of course a DB is more optimal, but these applications aren't meant to run production databases of 100,000 entries in milliseconds, they're meant to be accessible and the appeal of using .md was in making it future proof, simple, and accessible.
If I wanted to use a redis DB or Postgres I could just do that.
What other than org-mode and obsidian are the options?
For markdown?
There's a few... Joplin and silverbullet come to mind... There's othet apps capable of working with markdown files of course, but it's all the linking that I found the best.
I tried the new version first, had a load of things I didn't like, most of which were caused by not being able to edit the files directly, then I found the og version.
I'm still in the markdown version. After "converting" the markdown directory I had no pages, nor could I find a menu entry to view, let alone create them. Only option seemed to be journal entries, which I don't use.

Did you go back to an eaelier version, or this newish OG version?

I took a look at this, but (from memory), I couldn't create templates??
I think I needed to learn Lua for something and it was put into the difficult pile... I recall it also needed hosting, so I couldn't have it as a separate window than the browser (I know tabs can be moved now...)
Is the (new?) Silverbullet+ any good?
@Cyber i don't know, I'm using with podman. It has a learning curve, but with some patience and community I've found useful things.

Logseq OG, fortunately being real free software (as in freedom), deserves forking if the original devs do not want to continue it. But it already works as intended, yes.

Yeah, the logseq Android app is really struggling.
For one graph (work) I've given up and just use Markor, but I didn't know about Fastlog, I'll take a look - thanks!
